Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani confirmed he is in Madrid for “very, very, very difficult” talks with Kaka.

The transfer guru flew out from Linate airport on a private jet this morning, accompanied by the head of Doyen Sports.

“We’ll try for Kaka, but it’s going to be very, very, very difficult,” Galliani told journalists.

There are differing reports on what is happening today, as some sources suggest Galliani is already in a lunch meeting with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez.

The private jet has been warned to stay on stand-by to take off at around 17.30 UK time, which would allow Galliani to be at San Siro for tonight’s Cagliari” data-scaytid=”15″>Milan-Cagliari at 19.45 UK time.

Other media claim the meeting has been postponed until tonight, which would rule Galliani out of the crowd for the Serie A match.

Italian papers also continue to push the idea that Milan would only sign Kaka for six months, as he would then leave in March to join LA Galaxy for the start of the MLS season.

This would effectively see Kaka fill the gap waiting for Keisuke Honda to arrive on a free transfer from CSKA Moscow in January.

Spanish media maintain Real Madrid have requested €15m for Kaka, but the Rossoneri would prefer to take him on loan or possibly buy in conjunction with LA Galaxy.
