Galatasaray “will try again in January” for Juventus full-back Kwadwo Asamoah, confirmed President Dursun Ozbek.

“We tried to the last moment, but at the end Juve preferred to keep the player,” said Ozbek in today’s Press conference.

“We did our best, but will try again in January.”

The 28-year-old Ghana international had been eager to complete the transfer this summer, as stated by his agent, but the deal never went through.

Juve refused to sell unless they found a replacement and Atalanta wouldn’t release Leonardo Spinazzola early from his two-year loan.
