Newly-promoted Lecce will sign former Milan and Cagliari goalkeeper Gabriel, as he has arrived for tomorrow’s medical.
The 26-year-old shot-stopper is currently out of contract, as his deal with Perugia expired on Sunday.
He is expected to have tests and then sign a two-year deal with the Salentini.
Gabriel is Brazilian, but has been in Italy since 2012 for Milan, going on to play also for Carpi, Napoli, Cagliari, Empoli and Perugia.
According to Sportitalia, he landed in Italy today after a summer vacation.
