“With a different result, we’d have faced Palermo in a different way. We came close to safety, but we wouldn’t have deserved it having lost 23 games and conceded 76 goals. It wouldn’t have been fair.
“Let’s not make excuses about referees and woodwork, we have to accept the result on the pitch. The team had limitations.”
