Over 100 people were killed in terrorist attacks in the French capital last night, with three killed at the Stade de France during the France-Germany match.

Tavecchio offered “sincere condolences and and deep solidarity from the whole of Italian football” to Noel Le Graet of the Fédération Française de Football, in a statement on the FIGC’s website.

“We are always by your side,” the Federation President wrote.

“In the face of the killing spree which hit Paris and France yesterday, football and its values should help us more than ever to defeat violence and make the stadiums places of peace.”
