Spain’s Andres Iniesta has been named as Euro 2012's player of the tournament by UEFA, but four Italians were included in the best 23 of the competition.

The Barcelona playmaker, 28, got the nod of UEFA’s technical committee after last night’s 4-0 victory over the Azzurri in the Final.

Goalkeeper Gigi Buffon, midfielders Daniele De Rossi and Andrea Pirlo, as well as striker Mario Balotelli, were the Italians who were named in the fantasy squad.
