“The table says that Lazio are the superior team right now, but I think we are better and we can take the game,” the Italian Under-21 international noted.
“We’re going into the derby in good shape and it will certainly be a great game. We’ve played some great football, we just have to do so for the whole 90 minutes.”
Florenzi won’t need motivating for the Stadio Olimpico clash given that he is a Roman and a Roma fan from birth.
“This is a very significant match for me,” he added. “I’m from this city and I feel this game more than other players who are from elsewhere – but they will be just as fired up as me.”
