Massimiliano Allegri seems to be growing increasingly frustrated at Juventus, or so his actions would lead you to believe following explosive outbursts in a number of the Bianconeri’s recent games.

The most recent came after Juve’s Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Inter after the 1-0 loss in the second leg of the semi-final on Wednesday evening. Allegri reportedly clashed with Inter directors Beppe Marotta and Dario Baccin, telling them out of frustration that they would ‘still finish sixth’ anyway.

But that is not the only occasion that Allegri has lost his cool recently. Here’s a look at some other memorable moments of madness …

Napoli and Luciano Spalletti

Last weekend, Napoli moved within touching distance of claiming their first Scudetto in 33 years after defeating Juve at the Allianz Stadium thanks to a 93rd minute Giacomo Raspadori winner.

Allegri was clearly unimpressed by the outcome of last Sunday’s result and refused to shake hands with Luciano Spalletti, before heading down the tunnel before the referee had blown for full time, sarcastically shouting “congratulations, you have won one Scudetto.”

Leandro Paredes

Allegri clashed with Paris Saint-Germain loanee Leandro Paredes in spectacular fashion on Easter Monday after the World Cup-winning Argentine accused his coach of not giving him enough minutes in the first team.

The reaction from Allegri was likely not what Paredes had expected, which led to the player storming out and not attending a team barbeque later that day with the rest of the squad, staff and their respective families.

Stefano De Grandis

Sky Sport Italia reporter Stefano De Grandis suggested to Allegri earlier in the season that his teams prefer to win narrowly and focus on results rather than performances.

Allegri didn’t take kindly to De Grandis’ analysis and snapped in response, claiming: “That is bulls***, go and look at the numbers behind my teams, they have always been the best in defence and the second best in attack.”

The Juve fan in the Fiorentina game

Victory over Fiorentina in February did not stop Allegri from seeing red during the game, as he was picked up by the TV cameras while in confrontation with a Juve supporter at the Allianz.

“Right now most of the fans are helping the team, then there are those who don’t understand that it’s not an easy time, but decide to come to the stadium with the intention of booing regardless,” he explained after the game.

Half-time against Monza

The Old Lady slipped to a disappointing surprise defeat at home to Monza at the end of January, during which Allegri made three half-time substitutions after falling behind twice in the second half.

The Juve coach reportedly scolded his players in the dressing room, screaming that “whoever isn’t good enough stays out of the team,” which was likely said in the direction of Paredes, Nicolo Fagioli and Filip Kostic, who were all hauled off halfway through the eventual 2-0 loss.
