Fiorentina have admitted an interest in Emiliano Viviano as they look to make a decision on who will be their goalkeeper for next season.
Artur Boruc has announced his intention to quit the outfit and that has only fuelled suggestions that Palermo's Viviano, a Viola fan, could move in.
“The goalkeeping situation is a complex one,” sporting director Daniele Pradé told Sky Sport Italia ahead of the 2012-13 campaign.
“Boruc has an important contract with us, but he has revealed a desire to leave. Meanwhile, we need to re-evaluate Norbeto Neto as he cost us a lot.
“We do like Viviano, but at the moment there are talks going on between Inter and Palermo given that he is co-owned by them.”
Neto, a Brazilian, was signed by former transfer chief Pantaleo Corvino for €3m from Atletico Paranaense in January 2011.
