Fiorentina have reportedly agreed terms for Empoli defender Jacob Rasmussen, but he will remain at the Castellani until the end of the season.
The two Tuscan neighbours are continuing to do business during the January window, having already picked up Hamed Junior Traore at a cost of €12m and left him on loan for six months.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more, Fiorentina have secured Rasmussen for next term and will again leave him to continue the campaign in Empoli.

Rasmussen is a 21-year-old Dane who joined Empoli from Roseborg over the summer for just €1m, having previously played for Odense, Schalke 04 and St Pauli.
However, the Viola will send Kevin Diks to the Stadio Castellani on loan immediately.
It won’t be a big loss for Fiorentina, as 22-year-old right-back Diks is yet to make a single appearance this season.
