Fiorentina have announced the creation of a trust fund to aid Davide Astori’s baby daughter, Vittoria.
The captain died in his sleep the day before a game at the age of 31 in March.
He left behind his parents, girlfriend Francesca and their two-year-old daughter Vittoria.
Today, Fiorentina announced they have set up the Davide Astori Trust to help give the little girl financial security.
The trust will be supervised by Astori’s family and his partner.
