The Frenchman sported 7 on his back during his trophy-laden 12 years at Bayern Munich, where he won a record nine Bundesligas and the Champions League.
He also wore it during the latter part of his 81-cap international career with France.
The 36-year-old is set to form a new-look front three with Federico Chiesa and Kevin-Prince Boateng at the Artemio Franchi.
