It is believed that the Grifone are asking for €7.5m, but that interest in Fiorentina’s 21-year-old defender Piccini may just unlock negotiations.
Fiorentina are reportedly prepared to offer Piccini, who spent last season on loan at Livorno, and €4m in cash for Vrsaljko.
It is also reported that Vrsaljko has asked Croatia teammate and Viola striker Ante Rebic for information on the Florence outfit.
