German Pezzella faces around a month out after Fiorentina confirmed the defender had sustained a knee ligament injury.
Pezzella pulled up during Fiorentina’s 0-0 draw with Napoli on Saturday, and his club reported a ‘grade-II injury to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee’ on their official website.
Although his condition will be reassessed later this week, the Argentine has already begun receiving treatement and will miss the Viola’s upcoming games against SPAL and Inter.
