It remains to be seen whether Santon would arrive on loan or on a permanent basis and how the deal would eventually be structured.
As for the midfield, if both Zanetti and Bolatti leave, Corvino will apparently inquire about Cesena's Marco Parolo, Cagliari's Davide Biondini and Parma's Blerim Dzemaili.
Fiorentina are also in need of a back up for Gilardino leading to speculation about Andrea Caracciolo, Massimo Maccarone or Robert Acquafresca moving to the Artemio Franchi.
