Fiorentina are thought to have found their striker, as a deal is close for Siena’s Marcelo Larrondo with Ruben Olivera going the other way.

The Viola are currently in joint third position, but have made it clear they are looking for reinforcements in attack.

According to the latest reports, the main target is Siena hitman Larrondo, who could join in a co-ownership deal worth €1.5m.

The price-tag could be further lowered by including midfielders Olivera and Francesco Della Rocca as part of the exchange.

Larrondo is a 24-year-old Argentine who has just returned from a ban for failing to report a potential fix to the authorities, the suspension cut to three months and 20 days on appeal with a €30,000 fine.
