Manuel Pasqual has called on Fiorentina to bounce back from poor recent form against Dynamo Kiev.

The Viola meet the Ukrainian side in Kiev in the first leg of their Europa League Quarter Final tomorrow night, and Pasqual admits they’ve been on a poor run.

“We’ll have to be combative,” the full-back said in the pre-match Press conference.

“Lately we haven’t been getting results. We’ve never gone through a period like this with [Coach Vincenzo] Montella on the bench, but we can’t get depressed.

“A lot also depends on the teams we’ve been facing when we’ve not been at our best.”

The Italian international also discussed the strengths of tomorrow’s opponents, and as a defender feels he’s in for a tough test.

“They have great players up-front, not least [Andriy] Yarmolenko. We’ve seen that they can get goals both with clever moves and with sheer pace.

“I think Yarmolenko is the spearhead of this team.”
