Andrea Belotti is set to travel to Florence on Wednesday evening ahead of his loan move from Roma to Fiorentina, multiple outlets are reporting.
La Viola have scheduled a medical for Belotti on Thursday morning after reaching an agreement on personal terms in a meeting with the player’s representatives on Wednesday morning.
Fiorentina reached an agreement with Roma on Tuesday night over a loan deal until the end of the 2023-24 season. There will not be an option to buy clause included in the deal. Vincenzo Italiano’s side will, however, pay a small loan fee to bring Belotti to Tuscany.
On Wednesday morning, Fiorentina reportedly reached an agreement on personal terms and are now ready to complete the last remaining formalities before issuing an official announcement.
It has been a busy end to the transfer window in the Fiorentina attacking department, as the club look to move M’Bala Nzola on before the end of the month.
Elsewhere, Fiorentina reportedly made an offer in the region of €20m for Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson at the beginning of the week, which was swiftly rejected by Alberto Gilardino’s side.
