“I’m fine, there have been only psychological changes that eventually I will recover from.
“We are aware that Sunday’s game against Lecce is very important and that’s why I and my teammates will give it our all to get the three points.
“We have changed many players and Coaches and the team always needs time to adjust and to arrange and rearrange. We will do well again, we have to win at Lecce.
“The whistles? No-one likes to receive them. I believe it is essential that the public support the team because for us to return to doing well we need them.
“Perhaps they have a different perception to us of what happens.”
At the same time, Ilicic was asked of his future at the Renzo Barbera.
“I don’t know if I’m still going to be at Palermo come next year, we will see.
“When I’m here I am focused on what awaits me, until after the end of this season.
“I’m ambitious like any young player to play in the Champions League one day.”
