As expected, Inter and Udinese have finalised the details for the purchase of Lazar Samardzic for €15m plus Giovanni Fabbian, with the buy-back clause finalised too.

The deal had been practically done for over a week, as reported by Sportitalia, but the two clubs whittled down the final details this evening.

Inter will pay €15m and hand over youth team midfielder Fabbian for the total valuation of €25m.

There is a buy-back clause allowing the Nerazzurri to return Fabbian to San Siro, which starts at €12m if it is activated in 2024 and rises to €15m in 2025.

Samardzic and Fabbian have both agreed personal terms and are set to undergo their medicals on Monday.

The 21-year-old Serbia international already has two senior caps for his country and impressed last term in Serie A, scoring five goals and providing four assists in 37 Serie A appearances.

Samardzic had also been linked with Napoli and Milan before Inter struck the deal.
