Giuseppe Pecoraro was born in Naples and notably gave Juventus President Andrea Agnelli a one-year ban earlier in the season for his alleged role in selling tickets to ultras.

“Which team do I support? On Sundays, the team of my heart are Napoli,” he told Rai 1.

“On other days, every team are the same to me. Will Napoli win the Scudetto this season? We hope so. Us Neapolitans hope so.”

The remarks have led many on social media to not only condemn Pecoraro but call for his resignation due to a possible conflict of interest.
