An anti-discrimination working group met today at the FIGC headquarters as preparations begin for a new campaign in football.

The initiative involves all sectors of Italian football for the first time, from the leagues and technical components to the AIA and the UNAR (National Anti-Racial Discrimination Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers).

The Italian Football Federation will launch an anti-discrimination campaign with the aim of bringing together the entire world of Italian football on March 21, the National Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

The objective of the campaign, which will be launched on the occasion of the Week of Action against Racism (March 15-21), is to spread a strong and unequivocal message of the fight against discrimination through a campaign that which will be spread on all media and social channels of the FIGC, Leagues, Technical Components and AIA.

In order to develop this campaign, the FIGC has requested and obtained the UEFA HatTrick V FSR (Football and Social Responsibility) contribution for the implementation of the anti-discrimination project.
