According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Federation’s budget is €5m for the new Coach and his staff, and commissioner Roberto Fabbricini made it clear that they won’t deviate from that.

Mancini currently earns €4.5m plus bonuses per season with Zenit St Petersburg, which doesn’t include the wages for his staff.

In addition, the Russian side are not keen to release Mancio from his contract, so the FIGC may have to negotiate a compensation settlement.
