Sampdoria President Massimo Ferrero again denied his finances are in trouble. “I’ll take them to court.”

There are repeated reports in the papers that Samp are struggling to stay afloat and former patron Edoardo Garrone had to provide fresh funds.

“Enough with this constant gutter press,” slammed Ferrero to news agency ANSA.

“Samp’s finances are in order and I will not sell. Instead I continue to read reports of false meetings.

“In fact, I’m fed up, so I’ll take them to court. Someone has to be behind all of these stories. Perhaps they are irritated by my honest work, but let them come forward, as this time I’ll hit hard.”
