Since September it has been a massive slide with four consecutive defeats and two 1-1 draws against Palermo and Pescara.

Yesterday’s stalemate at the Stadio Adriatico, against a Pescara side down to 10 men for the entire second half, seems to have particularly irked the President.

“Saturday a day to forget, people only know how to complain instead of work,” wrote Ferrero on Twitter.

“Today is Sunday, the day of go to Hell without beating around the bush.”

Sampdoria’s next match is the Derby della Lanterna against arch rivals Genoa and it remains to be seen whether Giampaolo will be on the bench.
