Talks between Milan and Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce over a transfer for midfielder Rade Krunic are progressing, as the 29-year-old edges towards a San Siro farewell.
Fenerbahce have courted Krunic for months already, and had attempted to bring the 30-year-old to Istanbul during the summer transfer window, but a move did not quite materialise then.
Now, however, there are reports that negotiations are much closer to reaching a positive conclusion. According to reports from Calciomercato.com, Fenerbahce have put in an offer of €3m plus bonuses, although TMW report that the initial sum stands at €4m.
Both outlets suggest that Milan would prefer a figure closer to €5m to let Krunic leave in January, although there could still be some re-structuring of the bonuses and add-ons.
TMW believes that an agreement could be reached in the coming hours should talks continue as positively as they have done recently.
Fenerbahce reportedly already have an agreement with Krunic on personal terms and will offer the former Empoli man a three-year contract.
