The Giallorossi won their opener with Torino in the final minute, came back from 3-1 down to hold Atalanta 3-3, but at San Siro they were on the receiving end of a last-gasp goal.

“We have to improve. If we hadn’t conceded at the last second, we would’ve been talking about a different game, but the result doesn’t change what we need to improve,” defender Fazio told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to work, because we know the potential that this squad has. It has only been three games, so we must be self-critical, but not unduly negative. I am certain we’ll turn the situation around.”

Roma revamped today with a 3-4-1-2 formation, but switched back to four in the second half.

“I am content playing with four or three, on the right or the centre. We need to get used to playing where the Coach wants and do our best for the team.”
