“A club like ours must keep an eye open for players who are at the end of their contract or who cannot find space in their own teams,” Inter director general Fassone has told the Corriere dello Sport.

“Cerci's profile corresponds to our characteristics – he is Italian, he knows Serie A, and he's skilled, but it's unlikely he can fit in with our parameters.
“We haven't addressed this issue with Atletico Madrid.”
