“We replied to Fiorentina, and we took a very strong position,” the director general Fassone reminded Sky.
“I talked with the Fiorentina directors, explaining that we’re looking at him, bu we haven’t done anything wrong. We hope things will be resolved as soon as possible.”
Fassone also gave his thought’s on Milan’s stadium plans, which would see the Beneamata become he sole tenants of San Siro and gained initial approval this week.
“We know this is the first step for Milan. The project is between us, we’ve worked with Milan, we want to invest in San Siro and make it our own.
“I hope everyone will help us to make Milan like other European cities, with two stadiums owned by two big teams.”
