Bologna defender Frederik Sorensen has admitted that their extra-time Coppa Italia loss on Tuesday could affect their performance at the weekend.
The Rossoblu lost 3-2 to Inter after 120 minutes in midweek, and the Danish defender has conceded that they may struggle to recover ahead of the game against Milan on Sunday.
“We go into this game having come from a very expensive performance in the week,” he told a Press conference.
“We will have to recover our energy adequately, which may be tough.
“It is a shame about the result, but we have to turn the anger and disappointment into a positive when we face Milan.
“The Rossoneri are a young team and will be hungry to do well.”
