Sky Sport Italia claim Napoli rejected the latest €23m offer from Everton for Manolo Gabbiadini.
The negotiations for the striker have not been progressing at all well over the last few days.
It’s believed the asking price is €25m plus €5m bonuses, but Everton only bumped up their proposal by €0.5m.
Despite being dropped for the 4-2 win over Milan last night, Gabbiadini’s position at the Stadio San Paolo remains in doubt.
The Italy international would prefer to remain in Serie A with Fiorentina.

However, the Viola want Napoli to hand over Gabbiadini plus €15m in an exchange for Nikola Kalinic, a price-tag considered far too high.
“It’s Manolo who must decide what to do,” said Coach Maurizio Sarri last night.
“I would advise him to stay with us, but only if he is truly convinced. If he’s not, then it’s best he take another path.”
