Gian Piero Gasperini’s side finished third in the Champions League Group F, meaning they’ve been dropped to the Europa League.

They will face one of the group stage runners-up, but not Lazio or Napoli as clubs from the same country can’t meet in the knockout round playoff.

The eight runners-up will be seeded, while the eight third-placed teams from the Champions League will be unseeded. Seeded teams play the second legs at home.

The first legs will be played on February 17 and the second legs on February 24.

The winners will join the Europa League group winners in the Round of 16 and the draw will take place in Nyon on Monday.
