A return to Inter for Cameroon international striker Samuel Eto’o is not within the realms of reality, according to his agent.

The Corriere dello Sport yesterday suggested that the Nerazzurri wanted the player back a year after selling him to Russian club Anzhi for around €25m.

“I’m not aware of such a thing,” representative Peppino Tirri told Il Sussidiario. “And I can exclude the move.

“The only way that Eto’o could go back to Inter is on loan, but that is something that is impossible for now.”

Eto’o, 31, signed a three-year deal with Anzhi in August for a reported salary of something in the region of €20m a campaign.
