Claudio Vigorelli was in the stands for Samp’s 1-0 win over Empoli on Sunday and had a more formal meeting with the directors on Monday.
“The only uncertainty is the salary, but I am optimistic,” Vigorelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We will continue working towards coming to Sampdoria.”

It’s reported Eto’o is asking for €2m over the next two and a half years, whereas the Blucerchiati are offering €1.5m.

Everton left Eto'o out of the squad for tonight's FA Cup game at West Ham, where he is not even on the bench.
