Inter starlet Sebastiano Esposito said Romelu Lukaku “is like a big brother” and believes he is at the right place to develop under “extraordinary” Antonio Conte.

The 17-year-old admitted new Nerazzurri striker Lukaku has helped him feel comfortable in the dressing room and is looking to “learn” from the Belgian goal scorer.

“Lukaku is a humble guy, he is one of a kind,” the youngster told the Gazzetta dello Sport. “He has taken me under his wing in the dressing room and treats me as if I was his younger brother. I can only learn from him.”

The Italian got his debut against Parma on October 26 and believes Inter would be the perfect place to develop, as his three matches so far in the League have partly been due to injuries in the Nerazzurri squad.

“I live for football and I have already achieved a lot of my dreams,” Esposito told Gazzetta dello Sport. “Conte is impressive, he’s an extraordinary coach.

“Inter is a school for me, but also a family. You grow as a player, but also as a human being.”

Many expect great things from Esposito, not just at club level, but also internationally for Italy.

“If I have arrived here, it’s because I took it step by step along the way. The Azzurri shirt is one, the badge is another and the pride is unique. Someone who doesn’t give 100 per cent every day, won’t be in the national team. I would like to be a leader for every team I play in.”
