“I can tell you it is great news for you, because everyday is a wonderful day,” he said at a press conference ahead of the game. “I have to say amazing work, people get addicted to the screens, because it’s amazing. But for us, we are very poor on news.

“We are poor for two reasons: one because we are not buying a player every day and second because I’m the kind of guy who refuses to speak about players from other clubs, which some managers are happy to do.

“I don’t do it, so any name you will throw at me, I will say that player belongs to club A, B or C. I don’t talk about players from club A, B or C.

“And in relation to Christian, the answer is not good for you. But that is the answer, and the answer is that he is selected for tomorrow.”
