Upon his return to Roma, the 30-year-old found himself surplus to new Coach Zdenek Zeman’s requirements.
The two Premier League clubs would be interested to give Borriello a chance to prove himself, but only if he significantly reduces his wages.
West Ham manager Sam Allardyce was recently spotted at Juventus’ training ground and could have used that opportunity to ask about the player.
