The winger provided Claudio Marchisio with an assist for his goal, but he was also twice denied by Bologna ’keeper Federico Agliardi.
“Thanks for the support Juventus fans,” he write on his Twitter account. “I now must score – I’ll do it for you next time.”
The 24-year-old has found it tough to settle in Turin so far following his summer transfer from German club Hamburg.
The international midfielder signed a four-year contract after a transfer fee of €9m was agreed between the two sides.
