That enraged Trabzonspor, who could even take their case to FIFA, but the Moroccan says he never signed anything.
“It was a simple pre-contract, which I didn’t sign,” El Kaddouri explained on Radio Marte.

“I was ready to sign, but they never found a deal with Napoli. They offered a lot of money, but I wanted to stay in a top League and prove what I’m capable of.
“I knew right away that Empoli really wanted me and that was decisive in my choice. I’m happy to be here.”
