The Regional Administrative Court has accepted Eintracht Frankfurt’s appeal and will allow fans to purchase tickets for the upcoming Champions League clash with Napoli.

On Tuesday of this week, the Italian Interior Ministry decided that the Partenopei would not be allowed to host fans of the German club for the second leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash, citing security reasons after clashes between the two fan groups in Frankfurt.

The decision drew widespread condemnation from the footballing community, with some questioning how this was a fair decision and others suggesting that the onus was on Napoli to find a new venue.

As highlighted by TMW, the Napoli TAR – Regional Administrative Court – has decided to allow Eintracht Frankfurt fans to travel to Naples for the Champions League Round of 16 second leg.

Travelling fans totalling up to 2700 are expected to travel to the Campania capital for the European clash.
