The Brazilian-born striker holds an Italian passport and his strong performances are seeing him linked to Antonio Conte's national team, but the player shows little reciprocal interest.

“I only think about the next game, which is the one against Inter,” Eder has said to Sky Sport Italia.

“Everybody knows the Italian national team, it has made history. Obviously their interest is flattering, but I don't think about it.”

Eder then turned his attention to the teams fighting for Champions League qualification.

“We'll keep on going like this. We want to trouble those teams that are better equipped for Europe.”
