Inter forward Eder says ‘everything is in our hands’ but the trip to Fiorentina ‘won’t be decisive’.

The Italy international joined from Sampdoria in the January transfer window, but revealed that he could’ve become a Viola player earlier in his career.

He refused to rule out the Nerazzurri returning to the Scudetto race in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Scudetto? Maybe if Juve-Napoli finishes 0-0 we can return as well – everything is in our hands,” Eder said.

“Champions League? We need to believe in it, for me it would be the top.

“On Sunday I could’ve been on the pitch in the Fiorentina shirt, Corvino even spoke to my family about bringing me to the Viola, but then Empoli came in and I started my career from there.

“The match at the Franchi won’t be decisive but it can give us an extra boost.”
