Brescia's Brazilian striker Eder has revealed that Coach Beppe Iachini has the players' backing despite a rough patch in Serie A.

The Rondinelle currently lie 18th in the standings and haven't notched a win since September 22, losing seven of their last nine games.

Speaking to Tutto Mercato Web, Eder said: "Recently we have been making some mistakes.

"We play well in the first halves of matches and then there is a dip in tension in the second halves.

"The mister has our confidence and that of the club because he is a great Coach and a great person.

"We are a strong group and we'll get out of this situation."

Last year's Capocannoniere in Serie B was then asked about his lack of goals this season.

"A striker lives for goals," he said. "So it's normal that on my part this moment isn't great."
