This week the Bosnian striker graduated from a sports management course at the University of Sarajevo, indicating he sees his future as a director.

Dzeko speaks Bosnian, Czech, German, English and Italian, so would be a valuable addition to the Giallorossi management.

Accordingly, calciomercato.com reports that the club wants to extend his contract by one year to 2021, keeping him at the Stadio Olimpico past his 35th birthday.

Dzeko would take a small salary cut in return for an extra year, dropping from €4.5m per season to €4m.

He could then take a role supporting Francesco Totti and Monchi in the management of the club, though the Bosnian FA are also keen to offer him a role behind the scenes.
