Alfred Duncan and Ibrahima Mbaye are “happy and ready for the challenge” after joining Livorno on loan from Inter.
Midfielder Duncan will wear shirt number 41 and it is a return to the side he already played for over the last six months, while defender Mbaye has jersey 15.
“I am very happy to be able to wear this shirt again and reunite with my friends with whom we won promotion,” wrote 20-year-old Duncan on Twitter.
“This is a wonderful place and I settled in immediately. I am ready to fight in order to secure our safety in Serie A.
“Ibrahima is my great friend and I already spoke highly of him to the club in the past. I can’t wait to train and get going. I’ve already spoken to Coach Davide Nicola and my teammates.”
Mbaye is not so familiar with the Livorno set-up, but is equally enthusiastic about this experience.
“I am here to give my all and ready to put myself at the service of the Coach. I can play in any role in defence, both with three at the back and four.
“It will be an important test for me, as playing in Serie A is a great opportunity and I want to make the most of it,” noted the 18-year-old Senegalese talent (pictured).
“I have been in Italy for five years and am now ready for this new experience.”
