Inter goalkeeper Ionut Radu was understandably distraught after his howler could well decide the Scudetto, but his teammates – especially Denzel Dumfries – rushed to his aid.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper was making his first Serie A appearance of the season, only his second in general after a 3-2 Coppa Italia win over Empoli in January.
He was beaten by a Marko Arnautovic header, then in the final minutes his incredible mistake on a back-pass allowed Nicola Sansone to give Bologna the 2-1 victory.
Radu was visibly distraught at the final whistle and his Inter teammates gathered round to reassure him.
Dumfries went a step further and stood in front of a television camera to prevent them filming Radu in tears, shielding the goalkeeper from prying eyes.
Alex Cordaz, Joaquin Correa and Federico Dimarco also gathered round to accompany him off the pitch.

Mistakes happen. Hopefully this does not destroy his career ala Loris Karius. Shocking mistake but hopefully his team will support him. The fans may see it differently!
