Douglas Costa has mocked his former Juventus teammate Juan Cuadrado for his decision to join Inter on a free transfer this summer.

The Colombian has joined the Nerazzurri on a one-year deal after an eight-year stay in Turin, during which he often played the role of pantomime villain in clashes between the two sides.

Cuadrado and Costa spent three years together at the Allianz Stadium between 2017 and 2020, before the latter left on a series of loan deals to Bayern Munich, Gremio and LA Galaxy.

On a recent live broadcast on TikTok, Costa was asked by one of his followers whether he had seen the news that Cuadrado had joined Inter. He replied: “Yes, I saw. I feel sorry for him.”
