Sky Sport Italia claim Inter and Bayern Munich have agreed all the figures for Benjamin Pavard at €30m plus €2m in add-ons, but the Germans still need a replacement.

The two clubs had been edging closer to a deal over the last couple of days after the German media insisted the Bundesliga outfit had slammed the door shut.

That was always going to be a risky approach considering his contract only runs to the end of the season and in the end the France international’s desire to join Inter proved decisive.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the final figures of the agreement are €30m plus another €2m in bonuses.

The initial Inter offer had been €25m plus bonuses to reach €30m.

However, the problem remains, as Bayern Munich cannot let Pavard leave until they have lined up a replacement.

While Inter want him as a centre-back, the Germans will try to bring in a right-back instead.
