Roberto Donadoni has called for an increased effort from Parma, even if he believes their performances to date are not accurately reflected in the table.

Currently sat in 17th place in Serie A, the Ducali are without a win in the League since the first week of February.

Yet, in looking to turn the situation around, Donadoni has suggested the run is not an accurate reflection of his side’s performances in the first place.

“We have not won in eight games and that is significant,” the former Italy Coach commented on Friday.

“Certainly if we evaluate the performances then we see things differently, but the points say otherwise and the fact is we are not picking up three points, so we must push for more.

“Determination and desire to get a result will be crucial.”

Week 30 visitors Lazio are undefeated in their last five visits to the Ennio Tardini and currently sit in third place in the table, with the target being securing it for Champions League qualification.

“We’re playing against the side third in the standings, who have quality and are hard to beat because they often pick up points even when their performance levels are lower.

“They never give up and are especially dangerous for this.

“We must cause more harm to them and offer them few chances, we need to face every second with concentration.

“I want 110 per cent. I want all to give the same effort and even more, whether the game is at the 90th minute or the first. We have been preparing, we will make it difficult for our opponents.”
