Roberto Donadoni has brushed off speculation regarding his future at Parma and allayed fears about off-field issues affecting the squad.

The 51-year-old has come under increasing pressure following the Ducali’s disastrous start to the season.

However, in his Press conference ahead of the visit of Inter on Saturday, the Coach refused to comment on his position.

“I just think about what I do and give my best. I leave the rest to those who feel the need to think about [my future],” Donadoni said.

“With the President I talk two or three times a week and nothing has changed.”

President Tommaso Ghirardi and CEO Pietro Leonardi referred by the Italian Football Federation to the Tribunale Federale Nazionale for the missed tax payments late last year that ultimately cost the club their UEFA licence and place in this year’s Europa League.

But, Donadoni disagrees with the suggestion that the continuing saga would affect the players’ psyche.

“They don’t affect us. These situations could be better, but they have no influence on the pitch.

“Still, I’m sorry that our President and CEO must undergo these measures.”
